　Silver type CTP plate mainly includes silver salt and PS plate composite type plate material, upward dispersion type plate material and downward dispersion type plate material.
The Silver type CTP plate mainly uses the direct scanning laser imaging of the high sensitivity and wide color scale of the silver salt emulsion layer to complete the plate, and the excellent printing suitability of the PS plate is used to complete the requirements of the printing process. The ingenious combination of the experienced silver salt photosensitive material and PS plate material skills to construct direct plates has caused a sensation in the early days of the appearance of direct plates. The printability and print durability are exactly the same as the traditional PS plate. However, Silver type CTP plate is complicated, and post-processing such as repeated exposure and development (fixing) is required, and the process is cumbersome. This is also the main reason why this kind of plate material is difficult to achieve large-scale industrial application.



　　 Upward diffusion direct plate is composed of PS Aluminum Substrate, silver salt emulsion layer and physical development core layer. After laser scanning imaging, dispersion development is performed. The silver ions in the unexposed area are dispersed upwards and reduced to metallic silver under the action of the physical development nuclei of the surface layer to become an oleophilic appearance; the surface layer of the exposed area is still an emulsion layer and has good hydrophilicity. The plate base of Silver type CTP plate can be either a metal material, such as aluminum, or a flexible polymer base, such as a polyester base, which is a flexible polymer base in most cases.
